Full fat coconut milk, hemp seeds, and flaxseed oil are all full of essential fatty acids that help fuel our brain (which is made mostly of fat) and stabilize the blood sugar. No one wants to be a blood sugar (i.e. emotional) roller coaster. Hemps seeds and almond butter add the right balance of protein to help keep you satisfied from breakfast to lunch!
If you know you are sensitive to blood sugar spikes, try using one banana instead of two, half an avocado, or even a zucchini! Zucchinis help add a creamy texture without a strong taste. Just make sure to wash and peel it first.

- 3 cups coconut milk
- 2 bananas
- 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
- 1 tablespoon maca powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 cup mint leaves, washed and stems removed
- A handful of ice
Blend all ingredients together in a blender to create a nourishing and delicious smoothie!
