Did you know that humans can’t make their own vitamin C? We need a lot of milligrams of the vitamin to stay healthy everyday. There are wonderful food sources full of vitamin C, but you may also want to talk to your doc about supplementation as well.
When we get in this flight or fight mode, aka stress or chronic stress, our adrenals soak up the vitamin C that is in our bodies. Many of us do not think of vitamin C until we start to feel sick or are sick. By then it’s usually too late to stave off a cold, but it can help you recovery quicker.
